In the wake of Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter, Prof. Dr. David Garcia was asked by the New York Times about his experience in network science and what lessons Elon Musk can learn from the demise of "Friendster".

Prof. Dr. David Garcia uses his knowledge of social and behavioural data science to talk about the risks that social networks have to face in order to not dissolve. He shows the risks that Twitter is exposed to after the takeover by Elon Musk. He explains how the loss of individual users affects the entire network.
