First Rutgers-Konstanz Summer School on HR Consulting
Ten students participate in the innovative summer school that compares U.S. and European perspectives on HR management.
For the first time, the department organized a Summer School with our long-time partner, Rutgers University in the USA. Students from North America and Europe learned about the techniques and principles of HR consulting over the course of a week. Teaching was offered by Professor Joe McCune from Rutgers, with the participation of Constance faculty Ann Sophie Lauterbach, Adrian Bidlingmaier and Dr. Sebastian Tillmann. Part of the program also included a visit to Airbus in Immenstaad, where not only the manufacturing of satellites was illustrated, but also an overview of the HR strategies there was given. As part of the strategic development, Rutgers and Konstanz Universities plan to continue to offer and also expand the course format in the coming years.
