The study was published in the journal npj Vaccines. Based on data from a large-scale survey on COVID-19 and social inequality, the researchers identify communication strategies that influenced citizens in Germany to support international vaccine solidarity. Two of the resulting recommendations for action: To promote international aid, future crisis communications should clearly state the risks of unsolidaristic actions and highlight the commonalities between donors and recipients.
