Working group welcomes guest researcher

In the upcoming weeks the working group of Prof. Dr. Eva Thomann will host the PhD student Federica Marconi as a guest researcher.

Federica Marconi is a PhD student in “Theory of Contracts, Services and Markets” at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. There she has been building her scientific background for the last two years. Moreover, she has been performing a variety of teaching activities (Courses of Public Law of the Economy; European Institutions, Law and Markets; European-Financial Institutions), as well as research assistance and collaboration at the Law and Management Department. Furthermore, she is one of the winners of the YERUN Research Mobility Award 2021.

Federica Marconi holds a Law Degree (110/110 cum laude) from the same University and a Second-level University Master’s in Administrative Law (110/110 cum laude) from LUISS University in Rome.

Her core research interests and PhD study include (but are not limited to) theory of public administration and policy implementation, public procurement, anti-corruption, public companies, independent authorities and public accountability, and supervision on financial markets. Her research topic is about the interconnections between public procurement and the risk of corruption during times of emergency.
