Publication in the Journal of European Public Policy: Behavioral governance in the policy process: introduction to the special issue

In Issue 5 (Volume 28) of the Journal of European Public Policy, Prof. Dr. Eva Thomann co-edited a special issue on behavioural governance in the policy process.

The introductory essay for the special issue, which was was co-edited by Eva Thomann, Anat Gofe, Alice Moseley and R.Kent Weaver, allows an integrative perspective by discussing how a behavioural perspective can deepen understanding of different phases of the policy process. It connects insights from a long established public policy and administration scholarship which has not always been self-defined as ‘behavioural’ with more recent studies adopting a more explicitly behavioural perspective, including those in this Special Issue from varied national contexts.
