Social Technologies in Government

The research project ‘Social Technologies in Government’ started in 2008 with the goal to examine the use of social media by public managers.

We focus our research on following areas:

(a) social media tactics

  1. to push out information to the public,
  2. to pull information in from first-first responders, and
  3. to network and listen to the network.

(b) social media content

(c) social media strategies and policies

(d) social media impact measurement
