Prof. Eva Thomann held a lecture about the method of Qualitative Comparative Analysis at the University of Oxford

In Issue 5 (Volume 28) of the Journal of European Public Policy, new research results on the mobility of EU citizens were published. The European research team in which Eva Thomann participates found that Dutch and German-speaking immigrants are positively discriminated against, while Romanian immigrants or immigrants with broken language skills in particular are negatively discriminated against.

James Maxia, Eva Thomann and Jörn Ege find that there is a considerable implementation gap at UK universities of the ‘Prevent Duty’ introduced under the 2015 Counter-Terrorism and Security Act wherein university lecturers are legally required to identify and report any student they suspect may be undergoing a process of radicalisation.

Prof. Dr. Eva Thomann joins the university in the summer semester of 2021 and takes over the Working Group for Public Administration in the Department of Politics and Public Administration.
