Max Heermann is a postdoctoral researcher in the “CONSOLI – Conditions of International Solidarity” project at the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality”. Previously, he was a team member of the Horizon 2020 project “EU3D – Differentiation, Dominance and Democracy”.
Max Heermann’s research interests are in European integration, EU policy-making, Internet governance & digital policy as well as public opinion regarding foreign affairs and international cooperation. In his PhD dissertation, he investigated the preferences and coalitions of political parties and interest groups in EU Internet policy.
Max Heermann holds a BA and MA in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz as well as an MSc in European Governance from Utrecht University.
