The conference will be held on the campus of the University of Konstanz. The campus is located outside the city center, details on how to get there can be found here. From the main entrance follow the signs to the conference venue, which is located in the main building, level A7. The conference rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Participants are responsible for booking their accommodation in Konstanz. Some useful information:
- We have negotiated special rates with some hotels in Konstanz for conference participants. The list of hotels and rates will be sent to you by email along with the receipt for the conference fee, after we have processed your transfer. You can also request the list of hotels from our conference office. The hotels' booking conditions apply. These special rates are available for a limited booking period, which for some hotels ends already before Christmas - we recommend that you book early.
- If you would like to take advantage of the Konstanz tourist card, please let the hotel know when you make your reservation. You will then obtain this card when you check in. The fee is EUR 2.50/day, and you can use the city bus (to get to campus) and other offers free of charge.
Travel support
The AFK provides a limited number of travel grants (up to EUR 300) for people with an active role at the conference. Travel grants must be applied for in the registration form. They will be granted based on need, and will be paid out by the University of Konstanz after the conference (a travel reimbursement form must be completed, receipts are required).
