Jana Blahak

Jana Blahak has been a research assistant in the Reinhart Koselleck Project (DFG) "Black Swans in Public Administration: Rare Organizational Failures with Severe Consequences" since October 2019. From 2013 to 2017, she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Public Administration in Konstanz. During this time, she gained her first practical experience during an internship at the European External Action Service in Geneva. Subsequently, she completed the consecutive Master's degree at the University of Konstanz in 2019 and also obtained a Master's degree at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers (USA) in 2018. Her current research focus is on the role of public administration in disaster risk management in urban areas with regard to natural hazards.
