Travelling to and from Burghausen
The small town of Burghausen is located in a rather remote area, east of Munich right at the Austrian border. There are hourly train connections from and to Munich main station taking approximately two hours. If you are travelling by plane, the most convenient airport is Munich Airport. From there, you can arrange your transfer to Burghausen over Munich main station via train. The train station in Burghausen is a 17 minutes bus ride (Line 1, 5, or 16) from the reserved accommodation. You can also opt for a beautiful walk (approximately 40 minutes) passing though the old town of Burghausen and the world’s longest castle.
