Deutschlandfunk reports on the Hilde Domin programme for refugee students at the department

Getting fit for democracy and more: The DAAD Hilde Domin Programme for refugee students started at the department. The programme is aimed at young people who were unable to start or continue their studies in their home country due to the political situation. Througout the programme, the students deal with the opportunities and challenges of modern civil societies. What conditions are required for democracy, the rule of law and a vibrant civil society?
There are also other interdisciplinary courses offered, ranging from academic writing to trauma research and leadership. Deutschlandfunk radio reported in detail on the programme, including a short interview with Anke Hoeffler who is part of the organisation team. You can listen to the programme here (in German).
