Sven-Patrick Schmid is a PhD candidate at the Chair of International Relations and Conflict Management. In his dissertation project, he analyzes the consequences of indigenous policies on the concerned populations. Previously, he studied Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz and holds a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University. His research interests include indigenous politics, development studies, and the causes of armed conflict. He gained professional experience through internships in various governmental and non-governmental organizations in the field of international cooperation.
