Stefanie Rueß
Stefanie Rueß is a PhD candidate at the Graduate School of the Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Konstanz as well as a research associate since January 2022 in the project "Prejudices and Stereotyping in Job Centers? Benefits of the Basic Security for Job Seekers according to SGB II" at the chair of Prof. Dr. Gerald Schneider at the University of Konstanz. Within the framework of this research project, her dissertation deals with bureaucratic discrimination in job centers.
Previously, Stefanie Rueß completed her master's degree in political science at Stockholm University and LMU Munich, focusing on welfare state research and empirical methods. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Politics and Administration at the University of Konstanz. During her studies, she gained practical research experience, among others as a tutor for various lectures and as a research assistant at the German Youth Institute and the Chair of Empirical Theories of Politics at LMU Munich.
