Lea Banger

Since October 2022, Lea Banger is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Politics and Public Administration as well as the Graduate School of Behavioral Sciences (GSBS) at the University of Konstanz. Previously, she completed her master's degree in "Philosophy, Politics and Economics" with a focus on international politics at Witten/Herdecke University. She completed her Bachelor's degree in "International Management" at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and Queens University in Canada.

In addition, Lea Banger was able to gain initial research experience through her work at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, where her research focused on Eastern Europe and Eurasia.

Lea's dissertation focuses on the impact of war and conflict on horizontal inequality.
