Paul Bederke

I am a master’s student in Politics and Public Administration with a specialization in Comparative Politics and Policy Analysis at the University of Konstanz and joined the project "Nationalist mobilisation, illiberal elites and democratic backsliding in Europe"
as a research assistant in January of 2022. I completed my B.A. in Political Science at the University of Bremen with a thesis about the gender gap in populist radical-right voting.

During my bachelor studies, I have worked as a student assistant at the CRC 1432 Global Dynamics of Social Policy. As part of this work, I started to participate in the Party Facts project, for which I have been working as a project maintainer since autumn 2019. My research interests are voting behaviour, populist radical-right parties and democratic backsliding.
