Data Set Award from the American Political Science Association recognizes two projects at the department

The Comparative Politics section of the American Political Science Association awarded the Lijphart/Przeworski/Verba Data Set Award 2019 to the Comparative Agendas Project, which is co-led by Christian Breunig. An accompanying book just published with Oxford University Press details the data-gathering effort undertaken over the past ten years. Nils Weidmann and his group received an honorable mention for the Mass Mobilization in Autocracies Database, which constitutes the basis for a forthcoming book.
