Elena Gerdiken

Elena Gerdiken has been working as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Organizational Behavior held by Prof. Dr. Florian Kunze since October 2020. From 2017 until 2020, Elena graduated with a master’s degree (M.A.) in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz. She participated in the program Management and Public Administration and gained a specialization in Empirical Methods of Politics and Public Administration. Throughout her studies, Elena worked as a student research assistant and tutor at the Chairs of Management (Strategy and Leadership), Organizational Behavior, and Comparative Political Economy. In addition, she gained practical experience through working at the Administration of the German Bundestag in the secretariat of the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development. Elena pursued research projects in the fields of industrial and organizational psychology and information systems management as well as policy analysis. Her research interests include the consequences of digitalization at the individual and organizational level, technostress, and leadership.
