Julian Schüssler

Julian Schüssler finished his PhD succesfully in December 2020 and is working since January 2021 at the Institute for Political Science, Aarhus University, Denmark.

Julian was a PhD Student at the Graduate School of Decision Sciences, with a specialization in Information Processing and Statistical Analysis. His PhD project dealt with causal inference for context effects on political attitudes and behavior. Specifically, he was researching individual attitudes towards the EU, redistribution preferences, and voting behavior in national elections. He is also generally interested in non-parametric causal inference, especially using causal graphs. Prof. Peter Selb chaired his dissertation committee.

He received a BA in political science from the University of Bremen and an MRes in Political Science from the University of Essex, UK. You can find a current CV on his website.
