Laurin Friedrich

Laurin is research assistant at the chair of Public Administration and Organization Theory. He works within the joint research project „Emergence and social effects of hybrid organizations in local crisis management”(HybOrg). 

Laurin holds a bachelor’s degree in social science from the Ruhr-University of Bochum where he worked in different research projects within the fields of public sector reforms and the evaluation of administrative acting. For his bachelor’s thesis he investigated the development of the politicization of the bureaucracy and its causes with a focus on high civil servants in ministries of the German states. He also worked as trainee in the Ministry of Labour, Integration and Social Affairs of North-Rhein-Westphalia.

Currently he is enrolled in the master’s program in Politics and Public Administration with a specialization in Management and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz.
