Sascha Göbel

GSDS

I am a PhD student at the Graduate School of Decision Sciences, specializing in information processing and statistical analysis. In my research, I focus on topics in political behavior and public opinion. Currently, I study social media and political participation. In doing so, I combine computational social science approaches, especially automated data extraction on the Web, functional programming, and statistical modeling.

I received a BA in Political Science from the University of Bremen and an MA in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz. Prof. Peter Selb chairs my dissertation committee.

If you want to know more about me, have a look at my CV. Replication files are available through my GitHub account.
