Philipp Kling

Philipp Kling was a Ph.D. student at the Graduate School of Decision Sciences until 2021. His dissertation was supervised by Karsten Donnay. In his dissertation, Philipp analyzed social media users' consumption awareness. He particularly focused on the accuracy of Twitter users' statements about their online activity and the political heterogeneity of their Twitter network. Further, he analyzed the normative perceptions of biased news diets. His work utilized online surveys in addition to analyses of social media data.
