Welcome to the International Politics Chair of the University of Konstanz. We study various aspects of international politics; some of our research has prompted extensive media coverage. Our team has received research funding from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the European Commission, the German Research Foundation, and other research agencies. Some of our former team members hold academic positions in Austria, Finland, Germany, Spain, the United States and other countries . The International Politics Chair is headed by Prof. Gerald Schneider since 1997.
